Article 1 (Personal Information)

“Personal Information” refers to information concerning a living individual as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, including information that can identify a specific individual from details such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, contact information, and other descriptions, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and individual identification numbers such as those on health insurance cards (hereinafter referred to as “Personally Identifiable Information”).

Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number when a user registers for the Service. Additionally, the Company may collect transaction records or payment information, including personal information, from the Company’s business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and advertising distribution partners; hereinafter referred to as “Partners”) related to transactions conducted between the user and such Partners.

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

1. To provide and operate the Service.
2. To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification).
3. To send emails regarding new features, updates, campaigns, or other services provided by the Company
4. To communicate necessary information such as maintenance notices or important announcements.
5. To identify users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or improper purposes and refuse their use.
6. To allow users to view, modify, delete, or access their registered information and usage history.
7. To bill users for paid services.
8. For purposes incidental to the above uses.

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

1. The Company shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is related to the prior purpose.
2. When the purpose of use is changed, the Company shall notify users of the new purpose or publish it on the website in accordance with the Company’s prescribed method.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. Except as provided below or as otherwise permitted by law, the Company shall not provide personal information to any third party without the user’s prior consent:
   • When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent.
   • When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent.
   • When cooperation is required with national or local government authorities or their contractors in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining consent may impede the performance of such duties.
   • When provision of information is required for improving the efficiency of advertisement delivery in Google Ads, Yahoo Ads, or Meta Ads.
   • When the following matters have been notified or made publicly available and reported to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
     1. Inclusion of provision to third parties in the purpose of use.
     2. Items of data provided to third parties.
     3. Means or method of provision to third parties.
     4. Procedure for stopping provision to third parties upon request.
     5. Method for accepting requests.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be deemed provision to a third party:
   • When the Company entrusts the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
   • When personal information is provided due to business succession through merger or other reasons.
   • When personal information is jointly used with a specific party, provided that users are notified or made aware of the items of information jointly used, the scope of parties sharing the information, purpose of use, and the party responsible for managing the information.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. The Company shall promptly disclose personal information to the individual upon request. However, disclosure may be withheld, in whole or in part, if any of the following apply. In such cases, the Company shall promptly notify the individual of the decision. A fee of JPY 1,000 per request shall apply.
   • If disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party.
   • If disclosure may significantly hinder proper execution of the Company’s business.
   • If disclosure would violate any applicable laws.
2. Non-personal information, such as history or attribute data, will generally not be disclosed.

Article 7 (Correction or Deletion of Personal Information)

1. Users may request correction, addition, or deletion (“Correction, etc.”) of their personal information held by the Company if it is found to be inaccurate, in accordance with procedures prescribed by the Company.
2. Upon receiving a request, the Company shall promptly make corrections if it deems the request appropriate.
3. The Company shall promptly notify the user whether the requested correction, etc., has been made or not.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

1. Users may request suspension of use or deletion (“Suspension, etc.”) of personal information if it is being used beyond the scope of the stated purpose or was obtained by improper means. The Company shall promptly conduct necessary investigations.
2. Based on the results of such investigation, the Company shall promptly take necessary action if it deems the request appropriate.
3. The Company shall promptly notify the user whether the requested Suspension, etc., has been carried out or not.
4. If suspension is difficult due to excessive cost or other reasons, the Company shall implement alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user.

Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

1. The Company may amend this Policy without notice to users, except where otherwise provided by law or this Policy.
2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the amended Privacy Policy shall take effect upon posting on the website.
